Family pass "Däumling"
There are special offers, vouchers and discounts in the Däumling Family Pass. For example, you can save money at the swimming pool, indoor climbing, boat rentals or bowling.
The family pass costs 5 €. For people who receive unemployment benefit II (ALG II / Bürgergeld), housing benefit (Wohngeld) or social assistance, it costs only €2.50. (For example, show the notice to get the discount).
The family pass is valid for two adults with up to four children up to the age of 17.
The pass can be ordered online or purchased on site.

Support for sports activities
Sport brings social contacts and health. But often parents can’t afford sport because membership fees and equipment cost a lot of money. This is where Goolkids can help. There are various sports activities where everyone can participate.
Sports equipment
The association Goolkids also collects used sports equipment. Anyone who needs sports gear can come and pick something up for free. Here, for example, there are soccer boots or gym shorts.

Membership fee
Families with little money get additional help from the city of Bamberg or in the district. If you receive money from the job center, housing benefit (Wohngeld) or child support (Kinderzuschlag), you can apply for education and participation.
You get up to 10 € per month extra if your child goes to a sports club, for example. You can find the application here:
Tickets for events
The KulturTafel Bamberg arranges free tickets for a wide variety of events (e.g. concerts or sports). If you only have little money, you can sign up. If there are free tickets, you will be informed.

State support for family vacation
Taking a vacation, at least once a year, is something many people take for granted. However, families in particularly difficult economic situations cannot afford this. Especially for such families, a vacation together can do a lot of good. Family vacations strengthen a family, improve the family climate and contribute to understanding each other better. For this reason, Bavaria provides individual subsidies for vacations in family vacation centers for families whose incomes are below a certain income limit. In order to create an attractive offer for family vacations, Bavaria, together with the federal government, has been promoting the renovation and modernization of existing family vacation centers for many years.
