Finding help
If you encounter any problems in or with your apartment, it is important to find a solution. Often, a third party can help to mediate.
If you are not able to find a solution, you may also need legal help. In this case, you should always look for a lawyer who is familiar with the particular subject.

Mold
If there is mold in the apartment, this can be caused by several reasons. There might be a general problem with the building. But it can also be due to your living habits. Mold can develop, for example, if you ventilate too little or if you keep your apartment too cold.
Mold is bad for your health, so you should act quickly!

Termination by the landlord
If the landlord or landlady cancels your rental contract, he or she must give a reason for that.

Excessive heating costs
The heating costs depend on your own behavior, and you will be charged according to your consumption. The warmer you keep your apartment, the higher the costs. That’s why you should monitor your consumption.
Make sure, for example, that doors and windows are not left open when the heating is on.
Homelessness
